Fred Dart Meets Albert Einstein by Sandra Kaser

Marketing Committee

Fred Dart meets Einstein During the time that Albert Einstein was a summer visitor in Cutchogue, my father, Fred Dart, was driving towards Nassau Point on a hot afternoon. Ahead he spotted a figure of a boy trudging along in the heat, so he stopped to offer a ride. En route to the boy’s home he was asked if he would like to meet Einstein! What high school teacher wouldn’t! When introduced to Einstein as the local science teacher, this giant of a scientific thinker, shook my father’s hand, called him “professor “ and said how important it was to teach the young.
