Parking is free on the Main Rd. for the Gift Shops and Offices.
Parking for the Maple Lane Campus is free
on the Main Rd. and Maple Lane.
Parking for the Nautical Museum at
Horton Point is in a Southold Park District lot charging $5 per car. No street parking
at the lighthouse.
Transportation
Long Island Rail Road
Take the Long Island Rail Road Ronkonkoma Branch to Southold station. Turn right on Youngs Ave. Make a left on Route 25 and walk approximately 1/8 mile to Southold Historical Museum Maple Lane Complex at 55200 Main Road, Southold.
Take a ride service or walk (with caution) approximately 2 miles to the Nautical Museum at Horton Point Lighthouse at 3575 Lighthouse Road, Southold.
**Train passengers with a bike pass can take the train to Southold station and enjoy a scenic ride through North Fork Wine Country to the Lighthouse and Museum.
