2026 Internship Opportunities Now Open
Southold Historical Museum is pleased to offer two internship opportunities to students: the Bainbridge Internship and Gardiner Young Scholar program. These internships are a terrific opportunity for a local student to gain a hands-on understanding of the many operations that help Southold Historical Museum preserve and share Southold’s history for our community and future generations.
The two available internships require the completion of 100 hours of service to the Museum and are accompanied by a $1,700 stipend. The positions are open to High School Students entering grade 10 and up. Bainbridge applicants must reside in Southold Town. Applications should be submitted to the museum no later than May 29, 2026. A decision will be made by the end of June.
