Bainbridge Internship and Gardiner Young Scholar programs.

Southold Historical Museum is pleased to offer the Bainbridge Internship and Gardiner Young Scholar programs.  These internships are a terrific opportunity for a local student to gain a hands-on understanding of the many operations that help Southold Historical Museum preserve and share Southold’s history for our community and future generations.

The internships require the completion of 100 hours of service to the Museum and is accompanied by a $1,600 stipend.  The positions are open to High School Students entering grade 10 and up. Bainbridge applicants only must reside in Southold Town.  To learn more about the positions and to download the applications, click the buttons below.

Applications should be submitted to the museum no later than June 17, 2024.  A decision will be made soon after that date on who will be awarded the positions.  The associated hours must be completed between July 1, 2024 and December 31, 2024.
