About the event

Support Southold’s history and future by voting on May 19.

The budget proposal would provide $183,155 annually to fund Southold Historical Museum’s operations, educational programs, and the preservation of its nineteen historic buildings and archives. It also expands access by offering every household in the school district a family membership with benefits like free admission, discounts, and special event invitations—strengthening community pride and engagement.

Voting takes place from 3 PM–9 PM at Southold Junior/Senior High School (420 Oaklawn Ave), in the gymnasium. Your vote helps ensure these shared resources remain vibrant and accessible for generations to come.
