A Shared Investment in Southold

This initiative is about opening our doors and strengthening our community. By providing every household in the Southold Union Free School District with an Annual Household Membership, the Museum becomes a shared resource that every resident can take pride in.

We are proud stewards of nineteen historic buildings and an extensive archive collection that tell the story of Southold. This funding will ensure these irreplaceable assets remain preserved, maintained, and accessible for generations to come.

For residents, the cost is modest and transparent—approximately $35 per year (about $2.92 per month), based on the average district assessment. In return, every household receives full membership benefits while supporting an institution that contributes to Southold’s identity, quality of life, and long-term community value.
