Virtual Ice Cream Social!

You are invited to join Southold Historical Society for our first ever Virtual Ice Cream Social. In the past, families have flocked to the historical society grounds for fun. This year, the Society wants you to flock to your favorite electronic device to join in the fun. Ice cream devotees of all ages are sure to enjoy the event which will include a live performance by three-time Grammy nominated children’s artist, Brady Rymer. Brady's energetic rhythm and enthusiastic tunes will have us dancing in our seats. Another face that is familiar to generations of local youth is Southold Free Library’s children’s library, Dana Bruey. Who doesn’t love to hear a picture book read aloud by Miss Dana? Plus, you won't want to miss the stroll down memory lane of past ice cream socials as well as the other fun activities.   And. don’t forget the ice cream! Southold Historical Society has arranged with local restaurant, Country Corner Café on the Main Rd in Southold to offer ice cream sundae kits. The kits, complete with either 1 quart or 2 pints of ice cream, 2 toppings, cones, cups, spoons, cherries, hot fudge and whipped cream, yield 5 2-scoop sundaes and sell for $20. Yummy! So, grab your sundae kit or favorite iced treat and tune in to Southold Historical Society’s Virtual Ice Cream Social on Saturday, August 22 at 4pm.
