Sally Snowman, the last official lighthouse keeper in the United States, and Jeremy D'Entremont, historian for the U.S. Lighthouse Society, will team up for an illustrated presentation via Zoom on Thursday, April 16, at 1:00 PM. Watch together at Southold Historical Museum’s Maple Lane Campus (55200 Main Road, Southold).

Women lighthouse keepers in the northeastern U.S. will be spotlighted, starting with Hannah Thomas in Plymouth, Massachusetts -- the first woman keeper on the continent-- and continuing with Kate Walker at Robbins Reef in New York Harbor, Kate Moore at Fayerweather Island in Bridgeport, CT, and Ida Lewis at Lime Rock in Newport, Rhode Island
